We completed our filming for our music video yesterday after a full day of filming. We decided to break away slightly from our previous plan of carry objects through a forest location and chose to already have the objects set up in a log cabin which one of our group members conveniently had in their garden. The log cabin symbolised a 'home' for the artist and we built up the scene using stop motion which showed all his personal objects appearing around him; as if he had placed them their himself. The image on the left shows the scene where the artist performed the majority of the performance shots. We used multiple frames which can be seen in the image as the song has numerous references to "windows" therefore the frames of the window are symbolic and an amplification of the lyrics. The retro and vintage objects such as the old telephone, old scrabble board and rubix cube tie in with the indie conventions in which we have researched. I think the change from our original storyboard worked better as we were able to create a more engage-able and indie style video.
